My grandparents came from India to Kenya and helped the British rulers of the time to develop the country. My father was born in Kenya, and has since passed away. I was born in Kenya, but at the time of independence, we were ethnically cleansed and came to England in 1963. I have made my home in the country, have an English white wife and two children, who have turned out well and the country and people have been good to me. So, I have been work for community healing and closing the circle between India, Africa and Britain as we have all gained from the good aspects of the colonial heritage eg cricket, English language etc. Hence I would like to contact cricket clubs, host families in your islands, who can accommodate or host friends and family from Bristol, at a fee to be agreed a not many ordinary Bristolians or for that matter Brits can afford the expensive hotels etc and the local man is a cricket lover and calypso music and in the sixties the favourite song used to be “I a on my way — to Jamaica Town”. Also, we have been working with interfaith and inter-religious harmony, with a church from America called Interreligious and International Federation for World Peace to build a grand community centre, an awe inspiring building for multi culture performing arts, conference and exhibition centre and an interfaith/inter religious spiritual place for mutual support/tolerance and understanding. With best wishes.
