New president for IRO
Outgoing president, Rev. Cyril Paul, who chaired the meeting was ineligible for re-election.
Each faith was asked to nominate a candidate to represent its grouping and from the Christian faith where there are the Roman Catholics, Anglicans, Presbyterians and Baptists, Archbishop Amilius Marrain (Triune Shouter Baptist) emerged from that group and was subsequently elected first vice-president. The rest of elected officers are as follows:

Asst Secretary — Archbishop Barbara Burke (Shouter Baptist)
Treasurer — Pundit Mukram Sirjoo (Academy of Hinduism)
Trustees — Canon Francis Caesar (Anglican), Imam Abzal Mohammed (ASJA), Pundit Bramdeo Maharaj (Hindu),
Public Relations Officer —Senator Noble Khan.
