Don’t sit cross-legged
I am tempted to go into the details of the article but I desist for fear of plagiarism since the article echoes every aspect of my thoughts. I therefore, refer readers instead to page 14 of the Sunday Newsday of June 11. Since we are at it I wish to state that it is my view that Sat Maharaj and company are seeking to raise issues on non-importance to bring attention to themselves.
Since they are so against the “Trinity Cross” because of the false perception that it is an insult to their religion, I suggest that they also look at the following: Be wary of the daily ‘Crossword Puzzles’; “The Crosswords” have to be suspiciously watched; thank goodness for the removal of the railway system so that we don’t have “Crossings” anymore. The schools bearing the name of the Trinity or the cross like Trinity College and Holy Cross have to be evaded at all costs. Not to mention companies like Trinity Paints and the like. To think of partaking of “Hot Cross” buns on Good Friday is a no no. And be careful not to watch anyone “cross-eyed” when they do try to enjoy one. They may also not wish to “crosscheck the above “since it may make them very “cross” indeed. If they do check this article, don’t do it sitting “cross-legged” and don’t you dare “cross examine me. Well, I better not mention my “cross breed” family for fear that someone may use a “cross bow” on me.
Better watch it Sat, the list goes on and on. If you think ah lie just watch “Cross Country” since it has just crossed my mind.
Wake up and try to build inter religious harmony and love in this country and not try to do things to cause dissent and hatred among its nationals. Also be aware that a large “Cross section” of your religion sees nothing wrong with the “Trinity Cross” as an award.
