The simple things

Today we read and hear so much about families being in turmoil, losing loved ones, incest within the home. Government ministers being on all sorts of corruption charges, inquiries, law suits and not doing what they are put there to do which is to serve the people but instead just simply cheating the people.

Then we have friends turning against friends, either in a gang or in school or on the basketball court which end up with them killing one another senselessly. I was recently diagnosed with a bad kidney and I may have to lose one, just one.

It dawned on me how I love myself and it hurts to know that I may have to give up this kidney. Imagine someone taking another’s life, of a family losing a loved one, people who are there to help us and are just taking advantage of us, at friends who grew up together in the same neighbourhood being enemies later on, this sort of thing is not godly, this sort of thing hurts.

We need some good Old School Godliness in our lives today people and less hurting.
