Police hunt two for rape, robbery

It was about 11.30 am when two bandits armed with guns stormed the family’s home and held up the 40-year-old mother, her daughter and 16-year-old son at gunpoint. According to the police, the bandits tied up the mother, daughter and son. They proceeded to take about $500 in cash and a quantity of jewelry.

But according to the report, the bandits forced the mother and daughter into a bedroom and took turns in raping the teenage girl. They then escaped on foot.

After the ordeal, the victims untied themselves and contacted the San Fernando Police Station. A party of police officers responded to the scene and took the teenage girl for medical treatment.

San Fernando CID are continuing investigations.
