UNC hunt for candidates begins

Persad-Bissessar revealed that chairman of the strategy committee, deputy political leader Jack Warner, has given guidelines for the preliminary conditions for persons putting themselves up for selection. The party, she added, has received hundreds of applications for nominees.

“We’re looking at having the deadline extended but we can’t because we are over subscribed for the nominations for candidates,” Persad-Bissessar said.
