Eastern Lions gobble

After leading 1-0 at half-time on Kareem Freitas’ goal, the Eastern Lions turned on the pressure on the Coast Guardsmen in Sunday’s match.

They then got additional goals from Jonathan Glen and Ishmael Daniel at the Marvin Lee Stadium, Dr Joao Havelange Centre of Excellence, Macoya, Tunapuna.

East/West Coaching School clobbered Shocking Vibes 5-0 in the same conference at the Five Rivers Junior Secondary School ground.

The winners led 2-0 at half-time, both by Mano John who added another for a hat-trick. Dorlon Robinson and Clinton Corbin were the other goalscorers.

But Creek and La Horquetta played out a 0-0 draw in the third match at the Arima Municipal Stadium, while the match between Combine and Club TSTT is to be re-scheduled.
