St Augustine Lions new board

In outlining goals for the coming year, John plans to collaborate with other stakeholders in the community in a programme of health testing of children in the primary schools in the club’s area of service.

The new board has begun preparations for the club’s 16th annual children’s “Camp Heartbeat” which is scheduled for July 12 and 13 at the St Joseph Government School, Market Street, St Joseph.

The camp will take a familiarisation tour of British Gas Science Bus at the campsite in the morning on July 12 and sporting activities at Curepe Junior Secondary School in the afternoon

On July 13, campers will have “A Day With The Military”, and will visit the Military Museum at Chaguaramas, the Police Museum, St Vincent Street, and the Police Mounted Branch, Long Circular Road. The Fire Services Division will be providing transport for the campers.
