Eligon new triathlon boss

A former top competitor, Eligon replaces Ian “Big O” Gooding who is now a member of the four-man committee.

Anton Roberts-Cooper was voted vice-president, Angelina John Baptiste, secretary and Allison Field, treasurer.

Baptiste will have Herman Marcano as her deputy, while Brent Elder is the Public Relations Officer. Committee members are Gooding, Jason Takhee, Shawn Pereira and Anthony Celestine.

Meanwhile, the association is calling on all male and female triathletes between 18 and 89 years old to register to contest trials for the selection of a national team for the World Triathlon Championships in September.
