Murdered doc’s father dies

The elderly Maharajh who died after a brief heart ailment, was one of South Trinidad’s largest land owners.

MP Sharma said yesterday Maharajh had moved out of the Chacon Street residence shortly after his (the deceased) son’s murder and was staying at his grandson’s Palmiste residence. Maharajh, who had three children, (two of whom have since passed away) is survived by his daughter — Shakuntala Singh.

The funeral will take place tomorrow at Singh’s Coconut Drive residence and thence to the Shore of Peace for creamation.
