Catering company serves up safety
This internationally recognised certification puts Allied Caterers group of companies at the cutting edge of training and technological standards in food safety and hygiene, and is the first local company to receive such an accreditation.
The course has been developed to meet the new occupational standards in food safety and recent changes in legislation which require all food businesses to have a food safety management system on Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles. ISO 22000:2005 also specifies requirements for a food safety management system where an organisation in the food chain needs to demonstrate its ability to control food safety hazards in order to ensure that food is safe at the time of human consumption.
Allied Caterers, which also includes Katerserv and Allied Energy Services, continue to provide quality service and value clients and shareholders. Companies and/or individuals interested in this or similar Food Safety and Hygiene programmes can contact the company at 669-4213.`
