Dying for water

I don’t know what to do. Why is it that after something as routine as rainfall does WASA shut off the water supply? When you call to query, you are told of mud getting into the dam. Year after year it is the same thing.

So apparently if rain falls for weeks on end, we’d have to suffer and probably die. What would happen if there is serious rain that lasts for several days or a storm, God forbid? WASA, I am making this desperate plea that you make it your 2007 vision to acquire equipment that can filter the water while something as simple as rain falls, so our water supply would not be cut off.
