Local magazine highlights Christian leaders

The magazine, a publication of the Gospel Bulletin Board (GBB), is described by Bishop Maurice A Jones, the main driving force behind the project as “a virtual family photo album... a collection of testimonies of God’s goodness towards men and women.”

The publication, released on the third anniversary of the GBB, a non-profit company aimed at promoting positive media, profiles several well known business persons and professionals, as well as pastors.

In addition to Brown-Antoine, other well known personalities profiled are gospel artiste Nicole Ballosingh-Holder; Dr Winston Cuffie, senior pastor of Miracle Ministries; reigning Young King Sean Daniel; former Industrial Court Judge Lloyd Elcock; Lieutenant Colonel Richardo Joseph Garcia, Commanding Officer, Support and Service Battalion, Trinidad and Tobago Regiment; former TT cricketer Suruj Ragoonath; and communications consultant Madonna Sampson-Doyle.

According to Suresh Balram, the magazine’s producer, this is the second edition of Messengers of Hope. The first issue was published last year.

He said there are plans to produce a third edition before year’s end and the short-to-medium term target is to publish the magazine quarterly.
