There are some supposedly intelligent people out there, who seem to believe that when this famous ‘OSHA’ Act has been legally put into place it would automatically prevent industrial accidents from happening. Please wake up and smell the coffee.

They must be maintenance conscious, from spilled oil on the work floor or any other object that doesn’t belong there, a noise emanating from operating equipment in your respective workplace, that wasn’t heard the day before or when it was first put into operation. All the fines and the firing of people are not going to bring back the loss of limbs or the loss of life. While you are brainwashing them on how to get their employers, teach them how to manage their own safety and the safety of others.
Let’s get back to basic preventive maintenance, housekeeping and discipline in the workplace.
