EVO 6, Subaru in rally battle

The Rally Warriors will be in Bronte this Sunday, coming up against John Powell and Harold Morley, with the first car off the block at 9.30 am.

A battle ia looming between the EVO 6s of Ainsley Lochan and Barry Mckenzie and the Subarus of Colin Khan and Vishal Dhanraj against John Powell’s WRC Corolla and Harold Morley’s UK Impreza WRC.

The Bronte-Borde Narve stage is approximately 6.4 km long, with some challenging corners and jumps with some spectacular spectator points inside the course.

Spectators can reach the Bronte stage from the north by turning left at the bottom of the Solomon Hochoy Highway, left again at the traffic lights, and then turn right onto Cipero Road.

Follow this road for about three kilometres, then turn right as soon as you pass D&D Rentals (look for the TTRC Speed Stage signs).

You will then go past the St John’s Masjid Road to the stage finish one kilometre down with the start two kilometres further on.

The Service Park will be located across the road from the starting point at Cedar Hill.

As usual, Sham’s Famous Curry Duck and Cassava Oil Down will be on sale.

The scrutineering of cars for this event will be held today at the City of Grand Bazaar at 6 pm. followed by the briefing one hour later.
