I need your help now, Mrs Manning
In January 2006, after being ill for three and a half months and after submitting all the relevant sick leave from the said DMO, I was finally declared fit for duty. I reported to the Ministry and the Ministry advised that I had to face a medical board.
The Ministry sent my particulars to the board concerned with examining teachers for the resumption of duty. I have been waiting to face this board since January so that I can go back on the job, or be declared still unfit as the case may be, but to no avail. It has been six months now since my salary has been stopped. I have lost both my car and my house to the banks.
The board has still failed to call me for an examination, although being aware of my plight. School is closed, I write this in great distress and emotional pain, and still no word Mrs Manning. Why is it taking so long just to call a teacher (me) for a medical examination. I want to go back on the job. I am even willing to give up my vacation and work in order to be paid for the holiday. I am frustrated and depressed. I have lost most everything.
I need your help Mrs Manning. I want to go out to work. I am willing to go for a medical exam anytime, any day. I am even willing to do work at school during the vacation because I have bills to pay. I can be reached at 707-2887 anytime. Please Mrs Manning help me. Get one of your secretaries to call me very soon and I will come in and meet with you, or anyone at your choice. Please.
I have already met with Mrs Dalton and Mr Oliver at the Ministry and they have been very helpful. Please intervene Mrs Manning.
