The People's Hotline

JENSEN LA VENDE from Upper L’anse Mitan Road in Carenage told The People’s Hotline that his taps went dry at the beginning of April and he has made several complaints to WASA, who said a pump had to be fixed.

After waiting for three months and no repairs was done, La Vende decided to call The People’s Newspaper for help. He complained that he had no running water and had to resort to using rain water he collected to keep his household running.

When the People’s Hotline contacted WASA, an official from the complaints department said that the situation would be rectified as soon as possible. La Vende called yesterday saying that repairs were carried out and water is once again flowing through his taps. “Thank you Hotline for all of your help,” a grateful La Vende said.
