‘Floating voters’ still adrift

The word “perception” obviously, never crosses their mind.

Take those opposition politicians on their soap-boxes, desperately plotting to dethrone the present crop with their rhetoric about how these honourable stewards, elected to seek my welfare are nothing but a set of scamps and crooks bleeding the country dry.

Now, I must admit that after listening to various “scandals,” I am ready to jump on their “holier than thou” bandwagon to save whatever oil money is left.

The trouble is — I don’t have a clue who is leading me.

“Don’t panic,” the diehard members assure me, “We working on it.”

But with the “chookoor” taking place, and the dirty linens being washed in public about which of them is a big scamp and which “nemakaram” is a bigger crook — if a snap election is called, I am in monkey pants. Its six of one, half-a-dozen of the other.

Well, take it from this “swing” voter — not a damn vote for any of them! That’s the perception, I am talking about.
