Hazard at St Lucien Road Intersection
When the new highway extension in Diego Martin was built someone decided to give the drivers on Sierra Leone the right of way, thankfully they saw their folly and made it right.
However, they used a stop gap measure of painting over the white lines with black paint.
Several months later the black paint has been eroded by the vehicular traffic and the result is mayhem.
Several near accidents have occurred. I appeal to whoever is in charge of these road works to attend to this chaotic situation and remove the ambiguity, making it clear to one and all that St Lucien Road traffic has the right of way.
While you are at it could you repave the area in front of the newly built “condos” on St Lucien Road which was dug up last week to provide utilities for the compound.
Apart from being an eyesore it is rapidly disintegrating and creating a road hazard.
