Given the state of decomposition pathologist Dr Hughvon Des Vignes at the Forensic Science Centre was unable to conclude Ramkissoon’s cause of death and ruled the death as inconclusive on Monday.

Ramkissoon, 26, of Mora Drive, Sou Sou Lands, also suffered broken limbs and multiple injuries caused by beatings about his body, the report said.

He went missing on July 2 after liming at his brother’s house at ten mile mark Penal Rock Road. When Ramkissoon’s body was dug out from a shallow grave in a forested area at seven mile mark Penal Rock Road on Friday, police held the suspect nearby.

The suspect, detectives said, had assisted police in finding the location of the body, after which he was taken into custody.

Two others, of Penal, were also detained by police, but were later released from custody. Investigations are continuing.
