‘China’ fashion at Queen’s Hall

An evening of exciting hair, make-up and style is expected at the gala fashion event entitled “China.”

The fashion show, which begins at 7 pm, is part of many activities lined up to commemorate the 200th anniversary celebrations.

The event will showcase the finest of the local fashion industry and will feature collections from Meiling, The Cloth, Sonia Mack, Radical Designs and Zadd and Eastman.

While the collections themselves will have a contemporary flavour, the show’s overall theme will be distinctly Chinese.

“China” will also feature exciting make-up artistry by Sacha Cosmetics and cutting edge hair colour and styling by Schwarzkopf Professional featuring the talents of Ashvin Bally and Margaret Ramlochan.

The show will be directed and choreographed by Alyson Brown and it promises a viewing treat for patrons, who can expect a captivating mix of theatre, history and fashion. Patrons will also have the chance to visit the Schwarzkopf booth, as well as take in the sweet sounds of the steel pan. Tickets are priced at $150 and $200 reserved.
