Complain to us

I take this opportunity to advise Mr Jones and other members of the national community that the Telecommunications Authority of Trinidad and Tobago, is the agency to which members of the public can complain if they are dissatisfied with the outcome of complaints made about poor service by companies providing the following:

Broadcasting Services

* Cable Television,

* Satellite television

* Free to air radio and television services. (ie unsubscribed services.)

Telecommunications Services

* Internet

* Mobile Telephone

* Fixed line telephone

Providers of telecommunications and broadcasting services in Trinidad and Tobago receive their authorisation to operate from the Authority and are required to ensure that their consumers access acceptable levels of service.

Consumers who are dissatisfied with their service should first complain to the company providing the service to have the matter resolved satisfactorily. If after the consumer has lodged a complaint with the provider, there is dissatisfaction with the outcome, he/she can then complain to the Authority. The Authority will approach the provider on behalf of the consumer to have the matter resolved.

Consumers may contact the offices of the Authority at 76 Boundary Road, San Juan or call 675-8288 (TATT).

Consumers in Tobago may contact the Authority’s Service Facility at the Management Services Unit, Tobago House of Assembly, Calder Hall, Tobago, or call 639-5552, 639-5219. Consumer complaint forms are available on the Authority’s website at www.tatt.org.tt. Additionally, to ensure wider access to its complaint mechanism, the Authority is currently finalising plans to have complaint forms available to consumers at all TTpost outlets in Trinidad and Tobago.
