Cocaine killed prisoner

The autopsy was carried out by pathologist Dr Hughvon des Vignes. Relatives claimed Hope, 27, of Betty Street, Cocoyea Village in San Fernando was beaten to death by police officers on Thursday evening.

The autopsy report also revealed Hope had a one-inch laceration on the head which according to senior police sources, was caused when the prisoner suffered a seizure after he ingested the cocaine and fell from the top of a bunker. Investigations are continuing.
