TSTT signs new CDMA deal

In a statement the company said the agreement will involve Franklin shipping units of its CCU-550 1XEV-DO USB modem to TT which will be used for launching its CDMA network.

TSTT said this “revolutionary product” would allow its subscribers with laptop computers (especially ultra-portable and desktop computers without a PCMCIA card slot) to connect to the Internet “anytime, anywhere.” The company also said the modem was capable of speeds up to 2.4 Mbps enabling PC users access to email and browse the Internet at speeds comparable to cable and DSL connections.

Franklin Wireless president OC Kim said his company was pleased to be the first company to supply the product to TSTT.
