Bandits attack

According to a police report, Keron Mark, 32, and his wife, Eileen Codrington, were asleep at their at Railway Road home at 3.45 am, when they were awakened by the sound of their bedroom door being broken down.

The report stated that the couple jumped from their bed and saw two intruders standing at the doorway of the bedroom. One of the men, Mark told police, pointed a firearm at them and demanded money.

Mark told police that when he told the men he had no money, the armed intruders fired three shots at him and his wife. The men then escaped from the scene.

The couple’s two children — Earlon, ten, and Shania, 18 months, were asleep in another bedroom, police said.
