Barataria roundabout highway congestion

Can the authorities consider removing or adjusting the large space-occupying roundabout to accommodate a road leading into Barataria, thereby relieving the massive backlog of traffic especially on mornings?

This worked for St Ann’s/Cascade. It can work for us too.
