We can’t afford another Burnham

When the Prime Minister becomes Executive President, it means that he alone will have both reins in his hands.

If this is not more power, then I don’t know what is. It seems like the making of the lamb with two horns has begun.

That same lamb will soon speak as a dragon and cause as many, who will not worship the image of the beast to be killed Revelation 13: 11-5.

Remember the Guyanese experience, when Prime Minister Forbes Burnham made himself executive President, inflation crippled Guyana.

Then there was the Jim Jones experience and the Professor Rodney car bombing. Guyanese had to flee their country because freedom of speech was threatened.

It took the mercy of death to deliver Guyana from such a vicious dictator.

Old people had a saying: “Don’t put off what you could see in the day, to wait till night to take a flambeau to see.”

Open your eyes my people. We can’t afford another Burnham in the Caribbean.
