Dwayne Charles (seventh minute), Brent Antoine (27th), Alvin Xavier (48th), Ronnie Forbes (52nd), Jesse De Four (59th) and Keith Williams (82nd) were the goal-getters for Caroni while Patrick Toussaint got the lone strike for TSTT in the 79th.

The day’s biggest upset took place at the Couva Junior Secondary School Ground as cellar-placed Robby’s Engineering Couva Players United squeezed past second-placed WASA FC 1-0, courtesy of a 19th minute strike from Quami Knights. The prolific Dominique Kerr netted in the 70th minute as Angostura 1976 FC Phoenix completed a 2-1 come-back win over Crab Connection at Canaan, Bon Accord.

“Crabs” captain Marlon Warner put his team in front after 29th before Kevin Keith equalised in the 52nd, with Kerr securing full points for the hosts 18 minutes later.

In the day’s other game, M&M Harvard crushed House of Dread 3-0 at the El Dorado Secondary School Ground.
