Bennett in ‘Centro’ semifinals

Competing in the Girls’ Under-18 division, Bennett cruised past Laura Alicia Aguilar from Mexico 6-3, 6-4 in their quarter-final battle.

Bennett was due to meet another Mexican Pamela Montez in the “semis”.

And the TT teenager, together with Domincan Republic’s Franchesca Segarelli, progressed to the Under-18 final after spanking the Mexican duo of Linares and Piedras 6-2, 6-3.
