Northern wipe out Rainbow 54-14

The second match of Saturday’s triple-header at the Larry Gomes Stadium, Arima saw Northern totally dominating their Marabella-based opponents.

The day’s first encounter saw Harvard edge Police 24-19 while Royalians took care of Defence Force 17-7 in the latter fixture.

Also on Saturday, Tobago demolished the University of the West Indies (UWI) 68-17 in a Senior Division battle at the UWI compound, St Augustine.

Two other Senior Division matches were staged on Sunday, with Caribs edging traditional arch-rivals Northern 21-20 at Savannah I while Rainbow crushed the Youth Training Centre (YTC) 41-7 at Arouca.
