Dad and three kids escape death from burning car

Reports revealed that Marlon Francis was proceeding north along the highway, when another vehicle proceeding in the same direction crashed into the rear of the car transporting the father and children.

The car ran off the road near a gas line and exploded into flames.

Francis and the children, Mekhi Francis, two, Sabrina Sundar, nine, and Omari George, ten, sustained severe burns.

They were rushed to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex where they remained warded yesterday in stable condition.

Officers of the Chaguanas Fire Station responded to the report and extinguished the blaze.
