Garcia who lives at Acono Road, Maracas, St Joseph said she and other residents in the area were suffering without the water.

Garcia said she made several reports to WASA who kept giving her a run around. Garcia asked The People’s Hotline for help stating that she was fed-up of being unable to do her chores with ease.

The People’s Hotline spoke to a clerk at WASA who promised to deal with the matter immediately.

Garcia called The People’s Hotline yesterday to say thank you since she finally got water and was able to do her chores comfortably.
