Thank you, TATT

I purchased a mobile from a Digicel outlet on June 13, 2006 and by July 13, 2006 the buttons on the mobile ceased. I returned the mobile to the dealer, hoping to either have the mobile replaced or my money refunded as the phone was still under warranty.

However, according to the dealer, before this could happen, the mobile must be sent to the service department to determine the cause of the problem and that this would take ten to 12 working days. Even though this was a huge inconvenience for me, I patiently waited my 12 working days as my other option was to accept the use of a loaner phone which the dealer offered, but I had to leave a down payment of $250. This option humbly I declined.

My problem began when every time I called about my mobile I was given one excuse after another. In frustration I then contacted the TATT on August 14, 2006 and to make a long story short, on August 17, 2006 I was presented with a brand new mobile. So I end my letter saying thank you Mr Rawle Harvey, Consumer Affairs Representative of TATT for your quick and efficient service.
