Mom, child, aunt injured in crash
The three remained in serious condition at the Arima Hospital yesterday.
Reports revealed that about 11.45 am, the driver of a Nissan pick-up van was proceeding east along the Eastern Main Road, Wallerfield, when the driver attempted to overtake a car.
Reports revealed that the van crashed into the vehicle driven by Jenny Peters of Sangre Grande. The car ended up in a drain and Peters, her sister Christieann and Jenny’s daughter Shezelle, were injured.
Officers of the Arima Police Station responded along with Emergency Health workers. The three were conveyed to the Arima Hospital.
Checks yesterday revealed that all three were in serious condition.
The driver of the van escaped unhurt.
