Change to Independence Parade

In the past the parade ended at the Police Barracks, but because of work being done at that venue since last year when the parade had to end at PSA Grounds, this year a change was made and the parade ends at King George V Park today.

From early yesterday morning, personnel from the Ministry were seen busy getting the Savannah ready, sectioning off seating arrangements for the President, Prime Minister, Chief Justice, the diplomatic Corps, specially invited guests, the media and the public.
