Kappa driver robbed

Reports revealed that at about 9.25 am yesterday, David Daniel, who is also a driver for Kappa Drugs, collected a money bag containing $40,000 to deposit at a nearby bank.

Daniel, 37, got into his car, which he had parked outside the Saddle Road, Maraval branch of Kappa Drugs, when he was confronted by a man who cuffed him in the face and broke his glasses.

The man then snatched the money bag and escaped.

A report was made to the St Clair Police Station and Sgt Ajith Persad and PC James responded.

A search was carried out for the suspect to no avail. Investigations are continuing.
