Online recruiting launched

A media release issued by Splash Trinidad and Tobago said “during its first 12 months in operation, Splash’s first site www.splashjamaica.com started in Jamaica in June 2005 posted over 3,000 vacancies throughout the Caribbean.

“Moreover, close to 180,000 job seekers have signed up for regular job updated, while thousands more simply visit the site daily to check on the latest job openings.”

The release further stated that it was “delighted to recently launch its first sister site in Trinidad and Tobago www.splashTT.com.”

“With the advent of the Caribbean Single Market, online recruiting is the best option to connect employers and job seekers in a highly cost effective and convenient manner” the release said.

The company also announced the appointment of Lynette Yearwood, a graduate of the University of the West Indies, St Augustine campus, who holds a BSc with honours in Management Studies and Sports Management to the position of country manager.
