Which is the real Angel Gabriel?

He came to the father of John the Baptist, telling him he was going to have a son, although he and his wife were past child bearing age. (Luke 1:19). He is next recorded as coming to Mary informing her that she would conceive and have a son through the power of the Holy Spirit. This child would be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest, and His kingdom would be eternal. (Luke 1:26-33). Here Jesus is presented as an eternal King and not just another prophet.

The God revealed in the Bible is not the author of confusion who would six hundred years after the death of Jesus Christ send the same angel to give another revelation contrary to the one given to Mary, also speaking words, disclaiming that Jesus is the Son of God which he had spoken originally. John the Baptist vindicated Jesus thirty years later, when he baptised him saying “Behold the Lamb of God who taketh away the sin of the world.” (John 1:29). Jesus said, “My sheep hear my voice, and they come unto me, and I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish for no man is able to pluck them out of my hand.” (John 10:28).
