Mom robbed by gunman after dropping children to school

Oma Ramnarine, of St John’s Village, parked her silver Almeera car on Carib Street, and walked her two children into Grant Memorial Presbyterian School.

A police report stated that when Ramnarine returned to her car, a man whipped out a gun and pointed it at her. The report stated that Ramnarine handed over three gold rings, $200 in cash and her cell phone.

Yesterday, police said they suspect the same gunman went to a dental clinic on St James Street San Fernando, and robbed the receptionist of $300 cash and a cellphone valued $1,000. San Fernando CID detectives are investigating.
