Sister testifies in brother’s death

Candice Cruickshank, 21, along with PC Grant gave evidence against two Diego Martin brothers Collin “Ziggy” Renn, 21, and Kevin “Grover” Renn, 24, who are charged with murdering Cyril Cruickshank.

The matter is being heard by Chief Magistrate Sherman Mc Nicolls in the Port-of-Spain Eighth Magistrates’ Court.

The 29-year-old CEPEP employee was shot and killed on July 22. His body was found under a tree at the corner of Bridge Road and Cezan Trace, in Diego Martin.

The brothers are represented by attorneys Richard Mason and Owen Hinds Jr while Nazim Khan is the State’s attorney.

The accused men will reappear in court on September 12.
