• There will be an Indoor Demonstration Area for exhibitors’ use during the Show, free-of-charge.

• An Executive Bus Shuttle will be provided, free-of-charge to exhibitors and ticket-holders, on an hourly basis from selected hotels in the Cascade/St Anns area via the Priority Bus Route to the Centre of Excellence and back during the Show.

• There will be a special Coffee Zone on the exhibition hall mezzanine, around which the entries for the Caribbean Building Awards (CBA), sponsored by ANSA McAL, will be displayed.

• All exhibitors are invited to the CBA ceremony, which will take place on Saturday evening at a venue to be advised. It is expected that the regional design professional community will be well represented at this function.

• A silent auction of one item on each day of the Show at 4 pm will be hosted to encourage visitors to come early. The items will be donated by exhibitors, who will receive publicity for having done so.

• Free bottled water will be provided for all exhibitors’ staff members throughout the Show, courtesy Premium Products Limited.

• This year’s Handbook will include an Appointments Diary (October 2006 – December 2007).

• ABEL/Bestcrete, The HCL Group of Companies and Scotiabank will sponsor this year’s Best Booth Awards which will be judged in three categories : Small (100 sq ft), Medium (200 and 300 sq ft) and Large (400 + sq ft).

• Scotiabank will present prizes for the three Most Innovative Products on display at BITS 2006.

• Food will be provided by Mario’s Pizzeria, Fresh Express and Catch Of D’Day at the Show.

• The HCL Group of Companies will sponsor this year’s MID Awards for each of the different Departments at UWI’s Faculty of Engineering and the winners will receive recognition at the Luncheon on October 7.
