EYM score first upset in Carib Twenty20 cricket

The EYM batsmen battled hard against the experienced Aranjuez attack with Richard Ali topscoring with 27. He was aided by Kwesi Alfred and Sunil Buchan who both scored 23 as EYM closed on 121 for seven from their allotted 20 overs.

Anil Datoo took three for 23 and Rohan Parsan two for 24.

Ali returned with the ball as EYM restricted the Aranjuez batsmen from scoring. Richard and Asick Ali took three wickets each and Sunil Bachan two for 33 as Aranjuez consistently lost wickets in their run chase to be restricted to 118 for eight.

Issac Kennedy was the best batsman for Aranjuez scoring 34 runs.
