Mighty Psycho dies

I am sending this comment to inform you that he passed away just last night due to kidney failure. In the article however, a crucial fact was omitted that Mr Kelvin Baptiste was also a retired Calypso singer known as “The Mighty Psycho” and a former finalist in the 1969 Calypso Monarch competition for his hit “Miniskirt.” Prior to losing his leg, he travelled to Germany to represent Trinidad in a Calypso competition for the disabled. I am his niece, I currently live away in the States and I think it’s important that the people of Trinidad and Tobago remember his legacy and how he contributed to the musical culture of the country.
