Cochrane Village wants water

According to resident, Fayola Wiltshire, of Main Road, Cochrane Village, Guapo, Point Fortin, the community has been without a pipe-borne water supply for the past five weeks and pointed out that neighbouring villages have not had a disruption in their service.

She said residents had difficulty performing their household chores such as cooking and washing.

A WASA official said the disruption may be caused by a faulty pump and promised to investigate the situation.
