Bulffuzz top group

Batting first, Bluffuzz compiled a challenging 88 for five from their 12 overs led by Gonzalez’ knock. Kerwin Simboo was D’A-Team’s best bowler with two wickets for 22 runs.

D’ A-Team struggled in their turn at the crease, and limped to 60 for eight when overs ran out. Rishi Paheman was the star of the show with three wickets for six runs while Rohan Sookdeo (16) and Leon Barron (14) were the top scorers for D’ A-Team.

Meanwhile, Mario’s Ah Cricket Side crushed SIC by 59 runs to rise to third place in Group ‘B’.

Christopher Jagmohan spanked an unbeaten 32 as Ah Cricket Side posted 108 for the loss of four wickets from their overs. Ravin Persaud chipped in with 22 while Mitra Durbal added 12 and Amin Hosein 10 not out.

In reply, SIC were completely stifled by Jagmohan (4/6) and Spethen Lalloo (2/0) as they could only muster 49 for eight from their 12 overs.

Dennis Teelucksingh top-scored with 12 while Niven Mahase had 10.
