TT rugby team trounce Barbados
Trinidad and Tobago trounced visitors Barbados 34-5 on Saturday at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, Mucurapo.
The squad, under the guidance of manager Curtis Nero, dominated proceedings from the start, with Phillip scoring a try in the sixth minute, which was successfully converted by Lewis. Phillip added another try in the 35th minute before Barbados pulled one back, courtesy of a try, in the 38th.
In the second half, it was one-way traffic for Trinidad and Tobago. Phillip completed his hat-trick in the 60th, with a try that was successfully converted by Lewis, before captain Adam Frederick notched a try in the 70th.
And the scoring was complete in the 81st minute, with Daryl Scott recording a try, which was converted, once again, by Lewis.
