Unemployed man held with gun

A police report stated that at about 12.15 pm yesterday, Sgt Parasram was on mobile patrol in the company of Cpl Flaviney, PCs Lall and Jointe along Peterloo Street, Friendship Village, San Fernando. According to the report, Lall observed the suspect who is known to them and as they approached him he began acting in a suspicious manner. He was challenged and searched and the loaded firearm and marijuana found.

He was subsequently charged with possession of arms and ammunition and narcotics.
