However, the official weighing in of contenders takes place at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, Mucurapo, today from 3pm.

The card is expected to deliver 8-10 bouts featuring athletes from eight schools throughout Trinidad and Tobago.

Fine Line’s Shantel Adams will be making her competitive debut in the ring vying for honours in the lightweight division while Jealani Garcia will represent for the males.

Omar Smith from Rough House is also expected to square off against another top contender.

Tobago’s contingent will be led by Eyon Clarke, who has joined the fight to raise an awareness of the sport locally.

Sponsoring this event will be Abbott Nutrition, Chaguanas Auto Supplies, V&N Auto Supplies, Evolution Fitness Center, Toby’s Bar and Fine Line Fight Factory.

Admission is $100 (general) and $150 (ringside).
