Hitters trounce Mt Hope in Bamboo Cricket League

Denish Maraj made 48 runs and Derwin Christian contributed 39 runs as they led the team with the bat while Ravi Beharry 4/5 and Rishi Ramgoolie 3/0 finished the job with the ball.

Mt Hope Masters only managed to post a score of 72/8 after 12 overs in their run chase.

Challengers have more problems to face as they failed make more than 40 runs for a second straight match as they were dism issed for 36 after 10.4 overs by the Spartans outfit. Spartans made 86/4 after 12 overs with Brandon Ramjit contributing 30 runs and Raj Persad with an unbeaten 23. Persad also caused destruction with the ball as he also took four wickets for two runs as he propelled Spartans to 50 run victory.
