Woman shot in head, boyfriend shot in leg

Police said Martin was shot in the head and has been listed in critical but stable condition at the Intensive Care Unit of the San Fernando General Hospital. Mohammed was also shot and wounded in the leg and he too has been hospitalised.

According to a police report, the incident took place at about 2 am yesterday while the couple was sitting in the porch of Martin’s home. They were confronted by gunmen who opened fire on them.

Police are unable to say what may have led to the shooting of the couple.
